i'm sure you people would have seen many wearing this 'bling' around their necks by now. that, apparently is our newest "miracle pendant" from curing cancer to insomnia. wow what a catch! and only at MYR550+ (USD172+).
from insanely ridiculous user reviews to youtube videos, they have it all.
just google 'quantum pendant' and you'll see tons of news about it. many claims it works, also many who says it's another MLM and scam.
either way, you can read it off their site here, and the long winded explanation of it's benefits at the products page.
i'm not really sure if it's the real thing or does it have any effects at all, i wiki-ed almost everything about scalar and found out it's just a hypothetical phenomenon and pseudoscience... as they say, it's all in the mind, maybe that's how it really works.
this is the FIRST and SECOND cocktail i've made in my life.
the one on the left is supposed to be purple (purple lagoon) and the one on the right is supposed to be blue (blue lagoon). vodka + blue curacao + lemonade /+grenadine syrup... but i dont have lemonade so i substituted it with lime cordial, which is yellow in color, and that's what made it different.
i'll be working as a bartender there.. i had no luck for a whole week to find a job at resort/hotel kitchens, so i take what i can get. wish me luck! i start tomorrow!
the only lousy thing that happened was my car breaking down again. anyone know in detail how an ignition coil can go bad??

Tall Tree under Dark Clouds
Dark clouds come lumbering by, lightning
strikes a tree on the plains, lighting it up in brilliant flames for miles
around. The rain came too slow, and the tree was burnt to the ground. Only a
short stump is left.
Years later the tree grows tall again, never
forgetting the passion felt in the heat of the flames, day after day it longs
to be strike by that white light, to be in its warmth once again.
In the years that the tree grew, many birds
and squirrels have made its branches their home, if the tree does get struck by
lightning again. Tragedies will happen. Selfish desires and lust for that
feeling, this craving so close and yet so different to the meaning of
affection.
Now we give this some thought. Is it the
tree who’s’ at fault for growing up so tall? Not so wide can the tree spread
its branches as it might not be able to, it is not that kind of tree.
Thunder clouds roll by, it was to be a
storm. The excited tree could wait no longer; it swayed in the winds as if
welcoming the lightning. Nor can the thunder hold back any longer when there is
such an easy target in the midst of his sight. It struck, and the tree burst
into flames once again.
The birds and squirrels lost their homes in
a flash. Most were safe but few have perished in the fire. Everyone is hurt; mentally, physically, emotionally.
Now the scenario will play out. Will the
rain come in time to appease the flames? Or will the tree be reduced to a burnt
stump once again? Does it only has these 2 choices?
Regardless, the tree will grow again, birds
and squirrels will come again. Will the birds & squirrels get to live to
their ripe old age and enjoy a peaceful retirement?

the one in the honda city (metallic gold) was a lady and her son, heading home after attending a birthday party there.
after it happened i walked over to ask if everything was ok, the lady said the kid got a shock from the impact, but otherwise fine. i hurt my ankle, and it still hurts.
when the husband came, he went in the car and took some buddhist prayer beads and giving it to his son, while the lady told him that i drove like a speed demon,then i got scolded by him.. after that he dialled someone on the phone speaking malay, asked him wether he's in the 'balai' (station). it's not uncommon for people here to have one or 2 contacts within the police station around here, i wonder what was he trying to pull... any how, that din't work. HAH IDIOT
he also mentioned that the kid had a high fever last night, and yet he's out here today at someone else's birthday party.
everything was settled quickly and we were to lodge a police report, later that night the police woman called me to meet at the scene of the accident to confirm the exact point of collision so to make sure who was the one at fault... take a guess who was in the wrong then.
when asked where did the actual collision happen, the lady shook her head and she said she din't know, all she could do was point & gesture anyway, her words were like gibberish most of the time if she tried to converse in malay. Then the police lady asked me and i just pointed. she got a little reprimanding from the officer and they left... as the lady got on the car she said her kid has a fever again because of ME... yay? it all ended within 5 mins.
my steering rod was broken as well, i couldn't steer the left wheel... damn it, my paint job will cost more than the bloody honda's overall repairs...................
right after watching the Movie adaptation of the story... i really am touched. i was surprised myself that the story had such depth & romance in it...

yes ladies and gents, this is what we call 'manga'. it's a comic drawn by the oh so well loved japanese*. i'm sure some (if not all) of you have came across a few pages of scanned, & edited japanese mangas and translated into english for the common public. since i was so bored waitting for my exams, i decided to do it too. hah.
i've also been typing my cover letter & resume, it took me about 3 days plus 2 week (s)to get it right and to submit it. probably because i was mostly busy with this..
seriously... i had my exam this morning, & i was playing rohan through the whole day & night for the past week.
oh, and the VNC viewer thing i had up there is a free software that lets you remotely command & monitor a computer... i tried using it while i was in my room, to access my comp downstairs, just to check the downloads. it's fun :D
oh yes... i'm also looking for a 2nd hand PSP with no dead pixels and decent outlook... if there's an offer below RM400 (123.276USD), i'll take it!
*not just the japanese draw manga, alot of people from other countries do too, just so you know.
